OPI The Living Daylights: Review, Photos & Swatches

OPI The Living Daylights:
Inspired by James Bond's fiftieth anniversary, this exciting multi-coloured varnish from OPI is something a little different to try. From the James Bond Skyfall collection, this courageous hue will fill your nails with an explosion of colour, and will no doubt become The Living Highlight of your day. Featuring OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate application, your nails will be given an even, glossy coat of fantastic colour. Contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde.

My Thoughts:
The Living Daylights is a clear based nail polish, infused with multi-coloured hexagonal glitters. Some glitter nail polishes can be a little tricky to apply, but this goes on like a dream. It spreads out nicely, it doesn't streak at all and it's opaque in just one coat.

I love that The Living Daylights has a clear base, because that makes it perfect for layering. It looks very beautiful over any nail polish, but especially over darker shades. I think that the darker colors makes the multi-coloured glitters in The Living Daylights stand out and look even more beautiful, but that is just my personal opinion :)

The Living Daylights is a very pretty and festive nail polish, which is perfect for the upcoming holidays. If you are a big fan of glitter nail polishes, this one is definitely worth checking out :)

You might like this product if:

♥ You are looking for a festive nail polish for the upcoming holidays.

You might not like this product if:

♥ Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar.

Hey Beauties :)
It's been almost a week since my last blog post, but now I'm finally back and ready to share new posts with you guys. Simon and I recently went to Paris to celebrate our 5 year anniversary, so that's the reason why I haven't updated my blog. We had such a wonderful time in Paris, and I can't wait to go back again. I also picked up a lot of beauty products in Paris, so I will be doing a haul post very soon :)

I'm beyond excited about the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar, which Simon surprised me with. He only let me borrow it for a few minutes, so I could take a few pictures and share it with you guys, ha ha! I'm so excited about this, and I can't wait to see which nail polishes that are hiding behind each hatch. I will be doing a new Ciate manicure everyday in December, so stay tuned for that if you are interested :)

My Weekly Macro: Vol.11

♥ OPI Last Friday Night.

Hey Beauties :)
Last Friday Night is part of the OPI Katy Perry Collection, and it's a beautiful blue based nail polish with pink, gold, green and blue hex glitters. It's way too sheer and pale for me to wear on its own, so I only use it as a top coat and I love it! If you are into glitter nail polishes, this is definitely worth checking out :)

Hey Beauties :)
The Living Daylights is from the new OPI Skyfall Collection. It's a beautiful multicolored nail polish with blue, gold, silver and rusty brown/red hex glitters. I'm wearing The Living Daylights on my ring fingers and I absolutely love it. I love how a little bit of glitter can change up a simple nail polish, and make it pop and look more fun, glam and super sparkly. The Living Daylights is such a festive nail polish, it's truly perfect for the upcoming holidays :)

Nails Of The Day: Bare To Wear & The Living Daylights

♥ Milani Bare To Wear & OPI The Living Daylights.

Hey Beauties :)
Today I'm wearing Bare To Wear by Milani, and The Living Daylights from the OPI Skyfall Collection. Bare To Wear is one of my favorite nail polishes to wear, and I never get tired of the color. It's a beautiful greige, beige nail polish with a hint off purple to it.

I really like how Bare To Wear and The Living Daylights look together. As you probably know, I'm pretty obsessed with wearing glitter nail polishes on my ring fingers. I just love how a glitter polish can change up a simple shade, and make it pop and look more fun and girly. Adding a glitter nail polish, is a fun and easy way to be a little creative with your nail looks :)

My October Favorites

 Hey Beauties :)
it's November, which means that it's finally time for yet another monthly favorites post. I have a few products that I have been loving for the month of October, and I want to share them with you guys :)

♥ Revlon Photo Ready Foundation in Shell.

I have been wearing the Revlon Photo Ready Foundation a lot in October. I really like how this foundation gives my skin a nice and dewy look. The Photo Ready Foundation has a lot of shimmer in it which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I do like how it gives my face a nice and healthy glow. If your not a big fan of shimmery foundations, this is definitely not the right one for you :)

♥ NYX HD Photogenic Concealer in Light.

I absolutely love this concealer from NYX. I have been using it everyday in October, and I'm almost out of it. This is definitely a product I will stick to, and keep buying over and over again :)

♥ MAC Paint Pot in Painterly.

Painterly has been one of my go-to eye products for the month of October. I have been wearing it all over my eyelid, with Tease from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette in my crease. I really like how Painterly and Tease look together. I like how Painterly opens up my eyes and makes them look more awake and fresh, while Tease give them a little bit of dimension and depth :)

♥ Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle.

I'm a huge fan of the Revlon Lip Butters, and Pink Truffle is a shade that I have been using almost every day in October. I really like how soft and moisturizing these lip butters are, and I love that they are quite pigmented as well. If you are looking for a lip product that will give your lips some color and keep them moisturized throughout the day, Pink Truffle is definitely worth checking out :)

♥ YSL Rouge Volupte in 20 Spicy Pink.

I have been using my belowed YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick in 20 Spicy Pink a lot in October. Spicy Pink is my very first lipstick from YSL, and I don't regret spending my money on it. I love how pigmented and creamy it is, and also how smooth and soft it feels on my lips. Since the YSL lipsticks are a bit pricey, I decided to go with a more neutral shade that I knew I would wear and use often. If you are looking to splurge on a lipstick from the YSL Rouge Volupte range, you should definitely check out Spicy Pink. If you are a big fan of neutral lipsticks, I think you are going to love it :)

♥ Essie Nail Polish in Bahama Mama.

♥ MUA Makeup Academy Undressed Eyeshadow Palette.

I have been using the Undressed Eyeshadow Palette from MUA Makeup Academy a lot during the month of October. The eyeshadows are really pretty and nicely pigmented. The Undressed palette is actually a great alternative to the original Naked palette from Urban Decay. So if you don't want to spend $50 or more on the Naked palette, this is definitely a great choice :)

 ♥ Pink Travalo.

The Travalo is a refillable perfume atomizer, which I'm completely in love and obsessed with. Before I knew about this product, I used to carry my favorite perfumes in my handbag. We all know how heavy our handbags can get with all the different things we carry with us everyday, so this cute little gadget definitely made a big difference. The Travalo refills in seconds directly from a big fragrance spray bottle. It comes in many different colors, which is a perfect way to keep track of your favorite perfumes :)

 ♥ Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

I absolutely love this Buffing Brush from Real Techniques. I love using this brush to apply my blushes with, but it's also great for liquid foundation. I'm so impressed with the Real Techniques brushes. They are incredible soft and so easy to work with. They pick up product easily and they do a really good job blending out the product as well :)

 ♥ The Beauty Blender.

I freaking love the Beauty Blender. I love using it to apply my NYX Photogenic Concealer. It does a really good job blending out the concealer and making it look flawless and even. I highly recommend that you check out this product :)

I'm a Real Techniques Brand Ambassador, therefore the Buffing Brush were provided for review purposes only. No payment was received for this review. My reviews are based on my personal opinions and experience using the item(s). All opinions are my own and 100% honest.

Face Of The Day: Bare Study

 Hey Beauties :)
On days that I just want a quick and easy makeup look, this is usually the look I go for. When I'm in a hurry and I don't have much time to do my makeup, I just skip my foundation and go straight to my concealer. My skin isn't perfect, but I feel comfortable enough to skip my foundation. I love how Bare Study opens up my eyes and make me look more awake. It can definitely be a lifesaver on those really early mornings, haha :)
